the beginning of the end

The end is near...I have just one more week, one major project, and one major final to complete.

Last week was pretty crazy. Drake Relays is amazing. That's all I have to say. I saw a ton of people and went to a ton of different places. I didn't actually make it to the REAL Drake Relays, but I sat out on Helmich Commons Saturday afternoon and listen to the announcer, so that kinda counts, right? Haha, not really, but I like to pretend.

The weather magically became awesome starting Friday for Relays. I'm not sure how much Drake had to pay someone for that, but it was well worth it. Though now on Monday, it's starting to get a bit toasty. I think 88 is the high? Yikes. Then again, a few weeks ago, it was snowing. Pick your battles I suppose.

This week is pretty chill I do think. Some work to finish, but nothing I can't handle. Though now that the year is coming to a close, my apathy is growing very quickly. I know I can make it through just one more week. Not like it gets much better after school gets out though. I leave for Cedar Rapids on the 29th of May and have 2 shows to memorize before then...:-/

To try and motivate comments on my blog, I am offering autographs to the first 5 people who give me comments....HA! It'll be worth something someday when I'm famous.

Out of fear of being yelled at, I'm not going to post the YouTube video of The Landlord. But wow. See it. It's got Will Farrell and his production partner's daughter Pearl in it. Too funny.

Place of the Post: Vaudville Mews. It's next to Java Joe's downtown off of Court Ave. I went for the first time last weekend to see my fiend Colin play in his band, Milkwar. It's a pretty happening place. Check it out.

(P.S. Next post comes the now infamous phone pics pt. 3. Get excited.)
