becoming senile at 21....

I'm not sure if senile is really the word, but I feel like that sometimes. Updates on my life goes as follows:

Brahms Requiem was Sunday. I'm more glad for it to be over than anything! Though the way my life works, it was more about one less hoop to jump through. That ran straight into opera rehearsals this week for our performance Friday and Saturday. I'm actually really excited for it, not because the performance will be spectactular, but because there are a ton of people coming to town for the production. Of note, one of my high school choral directors (my favorite one) is coming on Saturday to see Anthony and I (his two former students at Drake). I'm really excited/nervous because it's the first time he'll hear me since high school! I'm REALLY excited for that.

And of course, next week is the one, the only, RELAYS! It's going to be glorious after all these weeks that I've been so busy I could barely move (or not move?) Stay tuned for an awesome Relays post soon!

Place of the Post: Marc Stevens Aveda Salon. Located on Ingersoll (next to Caribou), it's where I go to get my hair cut. It's a really nice salon, but for not so expensive price.
