Euphoria

The last few days have been amazing. The weather has been in the upper 60's and mid 70's. All the snow is melting, and it has seemed to have a positive effect on people in general. I know I'm in a better mood because it's so nice outside. The funny thing is that I went to Gray's Lake on Monday to run and it was not only COMPLETELY packed, but the lake was still frozen. It was more amusing than anything. It won't stay frozen much longer.

This whole weather is just more proof that if you don't like the weather in the Midwest, just wait a little. Two weeks ago, we were having one of the worst winter storms Iowa had seen in a decade, and now, we're having record high temps!

I saw sorting through pics and found some from that Salisbury event a few weeks ago. They're really cute pictures! It's so fun to get dressed up in evening wear and sing in an amazing venue like the Salisbury house....

This first picture is Natalie and I:

The second is of Heather, Chelsea, and I:

The third is of Melissa and I. I just thought it was cute!

Place of the Post: Vieux Carre. It's a dance club in West Des Moines. It's very French Cajun inspired, and we went there last night with some music folks. It was a ton of fun. What I like is that it's so large and spread out. A lot of places I've been to are so small and cramped. This was a nice change.
