I caught up with a guy who I last remember sophomore year in high school, Scott. He started getting into drugs, so moved to Texas to live with relatives. He graduated there, worked, and then moved back to live with his parents in Bellevue. His story was extremely fascinating and real. All I had was, “I’m a junior at Drake.” HA!
Thursday was back to Drake-land, and work at Crave. Friday was giving tours all morning/afternoon, then work at Crave. Saturday night was working at Crave. Did I mention I worked a lot? At least I have close to enough money saved for a shiny, new Macbook! Sometimes I think that saving never gets me anywhere, but a small wad of cash, and frustration, but then I realized it only took me like 6 months to save up enough dough for this purchase. Yay for being frugal. Picture is below.

Place of the Post: Granite City brunch. Probably the best brunch I’ve had since the days of the old Officers Club at Offutt Air Force Base. Since those are long gone, Granite City has replaced it with the best brunch award. So when your parents want to hangout with you, but you want to still sleep until 11, suggest this. Oh, and they’ll pick up the $14/person tab too, because food this good isn’t cheap.
