We went to Manhattan today and toured Chinatown, and stopped for lunch in Soho at a place called China Brasserie. It was like PF Changs, but fancier.
SOHO:
Mireille and I just chilling out:
The rest of the day, we walked around to galleries in Chelsea (which ended up being closed on Mondays we quickly found out). So instead, we strolled over to the East Village went to this row of shops called St. Mark's Place. Lots of cool shops, but kinda non-traditional. Tattoo parlors, and shops with a lot of vintage emo clothes. We went to a thrift store there that was pretty good. Got me a fancy vest I wore out that night. We met up with another of Mireille's friend from Colorado who's name is escaping me right now. We met for a pint and she shopped with us for the afternoon.
A cool bedazzled lamp post at St. Mark's Place:
It's eluding me as to where we ate dinner that night, but we did somewhere, and made it back to the hotel to change before going out that night to a local Brooklyn establishment.

Place of the Post: Farmer's Makret. Summer goodness. Fresh produce and breakfast burritos. YUM!
