farther to the end

Another week, the last one more crazy-filled than the next. It was opera production week. Which means, rehearsal every night until 9-10, and on Wed/Thur, midnight! But we're strong college students, right? I mean, my night sometimes doesn't even start until those hours. Ok, well less so now than it used to. These days, 10 or 11 rolls around, and I'm thinking I need to be in bed!

I digress, the opera and more importantly, opera scenes, went amazingly well. I'm glad it's over....for sure. Now a week of preparing for finals, and starting to move out of my apartment. Conducting final rehearsals are this week/weekend, and I would be wise to start studying for Music History. Last test was a bit of a surprise, though I didn't do too poorly.

My next major event is trip to NYC!!!! I'm going with my two best friends from high school. I have two finals next Wednesday, 7:30am and 2pm. Then packing and a wine 'n cheese event at the President's house. Immediately afterwards, I'm off to Omaha for the evening to chill with LaNae and Karen. The next morning, I fly out of Omaha to NYC and meet Mireille at noon in LaGuardia!!!! It should be pretty awesome. I ordered a new battery for my digital camera, since I decided mine was perfectly good after two years, but needed a little TLC before I took it on a big trip....

Well, I think that's all I got. I'll try and post some pics from the opera here in the next few days.

Place of the Post: UMMmmm.....i'm lost. All I did was go to rehearsal this week. I barely ventured past the confines of our dear University.....I went to the Drake Diner twice, that was about it.
