Well, it didn't take me long to remember why I had such mixed emotions about coming back to Cedar Rapids. There seems to be a lack of entertainment options in the city. That's kind of alright with me though, at least at this juncture. I didn't really get a break after finals ended, so this is effectively serving as such.
My amazing iPhone has been performing amazingly. I finally put over 200 of my contacts into it yesterday, as well as about 4 gigs of music and music videos. I still haven't been able to get the outgoing setting for both my drake and gmail accounts to work properly, but I am still investigating it.
New Years Eve, eh? Well, I was going to stay in Cedar Rapids, but decided that it would better serve me to go back to Des Moines, where some, though not all, of my friends will be for me to celebrate with. I decided to host the event, and there will be homemade soup and bread early in the evening, and then into the drinks and dancing. I am almost relishing New Years Day even more than New Years Eve, solely for the fact that I can sleep in as late as possible, and probably end up laying in bed and watching TV/movies most of the day. The perfect remedy for a busy finals and Christmas season, eh? I think so. If anyone has a better idea, I more than welcome them to leave a comment on my blog and tell me such. C'mon, I dare ya! ;-)
Place of the Post-Cedar Rapids: Lindale Mall. I can barely even endorse coming here, but something is better than nothing, right? At least they have an AE, Express, and Gap. Oh, and free Wi-Fi too.
