bubble bubble toil and trouble

Well, our first major ice/snow storm is upon us. Everything was virtually cancelled today in Des Moines, including the airport. A plane careened off the tarmac this morning apparently. No one was hurt according to reports, but yea.....it's slick. I spent most of the morning sleeping and figuring out if I had to actually go to my activities today. Church rehearsal from 1-3 was cancelled, but I was debating about going to work. I went to Lynell's recital, and decided I might as well go to work, otherwise I would sit at home and do nothing, and not get paid for it. I have a ton of work to do, but I probably wouldn't have gotten much of it done anyway. Instead, I can sit at work and get paid to do nothing!!! <3. My roommate was off being all politico today, as there was a Healthcare forum, and then the Brown and Black debates tonight. With the airport shut down, it should be an interesting event. And John Edwards was at Drake this morning talking, but not sure if that got off the ground or not.

Well, I should probably do something related to work, or at least pretend to. I mean, I do work at a restaurant, but alas, I'm sitting in the back on my laptop.

P.S. I strongly dislike my managers and supervisors at Crave. They are all deadbeats and don't have the common knowledge afforded to most people. 'nuff said.
