fly away

Boulder, Colorado. Helping Mireille move has been intense. But at least she's moved. Yesterday, we went tubing on Boulder Creek. That was SO much fun. We had to get intertubes from this shady gas station near the park. The lady who sold us them was REAL janky. You walk up this path near the creek and then get in the creek. The rapids were awesome, though kinda scary sometimes. I messed up my back on some rocks, but it's all good. Last night we went to one of Mireille's friend's house for a while. Today, we bummed around her apt and got Jamba Juice. Hopefully we'll go thrift shopping later, and then get ready to have dinner with her sister Heidi and her sister's boyfriend Grant. We're going to some fancy meat restaurant where they serve meat on skewers. I dunno. Then probably out in downtown Denver. Tomorrow, we're going hiking in Boulder and then back to Parker to have dinner with Mireille's parents before I head off to the airport. That's going to make me a sad panda. :-(

Of course, Monday starts Iowa Private College Week. Basically I'm a slave to Admissions between the hours of 9 and 4:30. Oh, and I have to makeup all the work I missed for my onilne class because I lost my book at NIACC and they had to ship it to me.

I saw Hairspray the other night in Parker with Mireille. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't like it all that much. They put too many celebs in it, and changed the script a lot. Boo. Trying staying true to the musical next time, and we'll talk.

Place of the Post-Boulder: Half Fast Subs. It's on the hill, near the University, and it's amazing. They have over 40 different kinds of subs. And tasty too.
