co' co' cachoo

I don't think it could be any better of a day. It's SOOO nice outside. Forecast says it's sunny and in the low to mid 80's all week. And today, it's only suppose to get to 79 and sunny. I love it. I'm sure Iowa will start flooding again soon. It's inevitable. A few days ago when we had storms, I told my roommate Jarrett that if I'm gone in the morning that the ark probably floated up to the apartment, and I just hopped on. Isn't that the beauty of midwest weather?

Anyway, the first week of school is almost done, and I have seemingly made it through as usual. Though not without a few funny mishaps. On Tuesday after my day classes, I took a nap at 4:30, hoping to only nap for an hour. Little did I know that I would sleep until 6:31, and my night class starting at 6:30. oops. So I scurry on over, and was only 10 minutes late to an hour and a half long class. It could have been worse. Oh, but it did. That night, I set my alarm for 8 for my 9am Music History. Little did I know that I would sleep through my alarm and wake up at 8:40. But as is my nature, I was able to shower and get to class right at 9. I know. I know. :-P

This weekend should be fun. Now that everyone is back, I'm hoping people won't be deebie downers and be social this weekend. Because last weekend they weren't and I was pissed. Who wouldn't want to hangout with all their friends they haven't seen all summer? C'mon now.

Place of the Post: At the corner of 25th and University, there is a new coffee shoping going in called Java Lava. I'm hoping it will relieve some of the congestion that has recently been occupying Mars Cafe. Twice this week, I've not been able to find a parking spot in my own lot! I mean, c'mon....this is my apartment complex. I LIVE HERE. Anyway, full review of this 'Java Lava' business will ensue as soon as it opens its doors to hoards of caffeine-depraved college students.
