Yea, the title pretty much describes my two days in des moines. I've had extreme ADD trying to get everything done here before I go to Cedar Rapids/Iowa City for the last two days of my tenure with Cedar Rapids Opera. The 4th was a nice break. It included running at Grays, a trip to Target, and grilling and laying out by Kelli's pool. It doesn't get more American than that I think. Anyway, when I get back, I will have a large article summarizing my time in CR. Quite a few pics too. Update on my Macbook Pro: It finally shipped today, and there was a mishap with the shipping of my neoprene case and iPod. So they resent the case today and the iPod should be here soon as they're done "tracking" it. I dunno. I just want what I paid for!
Place of the Post-Iowa City: Englert Theatre. I've never been there, but probably not much more different than Theatre Cedar Rapids. I don't know what is with eastern Iowa and their fascination with turn of the century theatres. HA! Apparently it was just restored, so I'm excited for rehearsal this afternoon there.
