blast from the past

Ok.......so I purchased a month of internet dialup. Now I am connected at 19.2k/sec at the cabin. Considering I've had high-speed internet since I was in 8th grade, this is like a slow death, kilobyte by kilobyte. Oh well. That's what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere.

Rehearsals are ok.....we started in the Theatre Cedar Rapids today. It's a weird-looking theatre. Rehearsals for Into The Woods start Friday.

Story of the Week: This morning at 7:30am, the crazy farmer that lives up the road was banging on our door non-stop for over 5 minutes, screaming and yelling. He eventually made it over to a side door where he basically broke in and verbally assaulted the people sleeping in the living room. Then he left, cursing, and promising to lock the gate someone had left open the night before. Jenna said it was really scary.

Ok, this dialup is killing me. I will be on later.....hopefully with some pictures I had time to edit.

Place of the Post-Cedar Rapids: The Irish Democrat. It's a restaurant and bar on 1st Ave, and apparently the only one that Ted Kennedy goes to when he comes to Cedar Rapids. Who knew?
