Wow, this weekend was intense! I ended up not shadowing Dina at the competition because they already had enough people. It was so nice to have the weekend off. I don't remember the last time I had a Saturday all to myself. Singing at the big event on Saturday was a ton of fun, and very cool to see everyone dressed up. Performing for the President and a lot of important Drake people was nice. They rarely get to see what we do.
Sunday was a normal "get ready for the week day." I had chapter and then made some awesome homemade pizza for dinner. Then the procrastination began, but it's 1:30, and I'm finally finishing up for the night. :-P This week looks pretty tame compared to most. I'm doing a lot of observing this week for my Methods classes so that they don't catch up with me at the end of the semester. Other than that, not a lot is going on. How does everyone feel about Obama running for President? Comments? Anyone?
Ok, I need to figure out some more to write about, but my brain is failing me right now. OH, and my next post, I'll include my second installment of "Funny Picture I Took On My Phone." They're another good batch.
Place of the Post: Gino's Restaurant. We went there for my friend Natalie's birthday dinner on Friday. It's kinda near the Fairgrounds, but it's an uber-old Italian restaurant. There were a ton of us, almost 13, and I could tell the waitress HATED our guts. We were loud, demanding music people. Not good. I hope no one spit in our food. :-/ BUT, it was really good food. Very old-school Italian.
