hazzah

So it's starting to roll into the time of the year I called, "Festivus Time." Basically Street-painting into Relays into Finals. It's probably the most intense time of the year, with professors assigning finals projects and papers, but at the same time, all you want to do it be outside celebrating in the warm weather. So it usually becomes a race to the end of the year.

I'm a senior, so it's extra hard for me, ala senioritis. BUT, I'm trying to crunch down this week and next so that I can relatively stress-free at the end of the year. We'll see if that pans out the way I'm expecting...

Last weekend was my senior recital. I was pretty excited, but I try not to get too excited, otherwise it turns into nervous energy. Not good. HA! I worked Saturday, and was pretty lame all weekend. Though I didn't seem to get much done homework wise. I guess that's because I was trying to sleep and be well-rested for my recital. Not sure. I was really happy that my family (parents and close friends and teachers) were able to be there. I'm glad it's done though. I should be getting the CD tomorrow, so I'll try and upload it to my website (www.ericjcarlson.com) soon if anyone wants to listen. :-)

So...I'm in the process of also planning my trip to Europe (Sweden and Austria) this summer and just keep making me more excited about it! I have my plane tickets reserved (to be purchased on Friday) and just need to finish up some last planning things. YAY!

Place of the Post: Frank's Pizza Pt. 2. They now are offering sandwiches that look pretty good. My roomamte has had 2 or 4, and said both were pretty good. So go support a local business and visit Franks. Oh, and they have awesome pizza....

This is of my dad's cousins and their mom (my great-aunt) in Sweden this summer before I go to Salzburg:

The flyer for my recital I made that was on Sunday. I was super-impressed that I made something that cool!
