Yikes. My spring break was boring, and I'd prefer to not even talk about it. It involved 3 full days of work, two days at home, another day at work, and two days of studying for an exam Monday morning at 9am, and a project due at 10am. It makes my stomach turn. LOL
Now that I'm back, it's work as usual. I'm going to NYC after school gets out, May 15-21, so that will effectively replace my uneventful spring break. Phew.
I was crushed when the poor Drake Bulldogs lost in the last 5.7 seconds of the first-round of the NCAA Tournament in Tampa. I normally don't follow sports, but this was such a "dream team" and even I couldn't help but follow!! GO BULLDOGS!!
In other news, I am in the ER writing this as we speak. My friend Kristen was having trouble breathing for the last few hours, so finally called me to take her to the ER. So she's in there being examined, and I'm taking advantage of the free wireless in the lobby to update my delicious blog. UPDATE: Kristen does indeed have trouble breathing, but it's because her inhaler was not functioning properly. So we're back to the waiting room. BOOOooo. It only means quality time with Kristen.
Installment 1 of: iPhone Encounter: A new segment that evolved out of my old phone pictures. But now upgraded to the shiny, new iPhone version.
This house was being torn down just south of 27th and University on Monday when I came out from work in Admissions. Cool, eh? I feel that I probably shouldn't have been able to get that close to the actual wreck, but they didn't stop me!!
So....there is a dog....and a cart in the Apple Store....weird.
Katie took this picture of me in the rain-slicker at work on Tuesday. Yay rain!
Karen and I found this at the Bag 'n Save at 78th and Dodge in Omaha. It's "He-Brew!" The picture is worth more than words can say...
Straight to you from the 2nd floor bathroom of Drake's own Cowles Library:
Kristen taking a slight nap on the bench in the stairway. Thank goodness they were there. She was feeling so faint.
Place of the Post: Methodist ED (Emergency Department). Yea, this is the first time I've been here in 4 years. Not bad, but not amazing either. :-/
