This weekend was good and bad at the same time. Leanne's recital was Friday night, and she was amazing as usual. We got all gussied up to go see her perform, and she was wearing the most elegant black dress.
Sunday I went shopping with some friends from the Crav'a'flav. One of them, Kelli, won this promotion at a new store called fa'brik at Jordan Creek. It's a high-end retail store, but not so high end enough to carry anything in my size. Otherwise, I probably would have bought a pair of jeans there. Too bad for them. I still did get two graphic T's from the outrageous outfitter. We all decided we wanted to go to Von Maur instead, since it was a much better shopping experience. I was drawn in by the Lacoste displays, and ended up walking out with two polos. <3.
Sunday night was also interesting because I REALLY wanted to go to dinner (for some reason I didn't want too cook), so I called Lynell and asked her to go, but she had to blitz campus with John Edwards promo stuff. So then I called Kristen and we went to El Aguila for dinner, only for Lynell to call me half-way through asking if I still wanted to go to dinner. Already having dinner, but not wanting to do homework, I told her I'd go to TGI Fridays with her anyway and sit. Yea, I'm that lame.
My fantastic Sunday ended with more homework and a fantastic bout of laundry (yes, I described it like it was the flu. Mostly because I hate doing laundry with the passion of a thousand fires.)
While crusing the Times-Delphic today, I thought I'd share a bit of journalistic masterpiece with everyone. I will let everyone read it and experience the beauty:

Place of the Post: fab'rik. High end does not mean high quality, or for that matter, high customer service. Be advised.
